Cadia is a private label brand owned by KeHE. It is a brand only sold at independent natural grocers. Our challenge was to create a templated design system that could span across 400+ SKUs for the Everyday and Organic product lines while not falling into the bland private label trap.

The Solution
Empowering Neighborhood Grocers. Cadia is only sold to independent grocers, not the big guys. The Cadia team knew they wanted to celebrate these grocers as a true and unique point of difference compared to other private label brands. We took inspiration from classic corner stores and created a system with color, class, and an authentic story. From the traditional grocery store facade in the logo to the rich deep green paired with bold typography and featuring actual Cadia grocers on the back of packs, this rebrand breaks all stereotypes of what a private label brand can be and clearly distinguishes the two product lines.
